You can't go far in New York without bumping into a fellow Johns Hopkins alum. The New York Chapter includes over 7,000 alumni residing in the greater New York area, which includes Long Island, northern New Jersey, Westchester, and Fairfield County.

We sponsor educational, cultural, social, and networking events, as well as community service projects that appeal to our diverse constituency. While these events often take place in Manhattan, we plan events in the suburban areas as often as possible. Our recent graduates are especially active and sponsor happy hours, sports activities, and more. Chapter activities are advertised in a newsletter, which is mailed three times per year, and via e-mail. The Executive Committee, led by Chapter President Matthew Sola, consists of approximately 30 alumni volunteers who make up the governing body of the chapter.
