Tory Tunnell, A&S ’98, has just co-produced the major motion picture Awake, starring Hayden Christensen and Jessica Alba.  The psychological thriller tells the story of a patient who undergoes heart surgery only to overhear the doctor plotting to kill him.   The film is being released nationwide by The Weinstein Company.  For more information, go to www.awakethemovie.com.

In October 2005, Tunnell co-founded Safehouse Pictures, a New York based film production company.  Tunnell’s latest project through Safehouse, TRUMBO, premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and stars Joan Allen, Michael Douglas, Brian Dennehy, Paul Giamatti, Nathan Lane, Josh Lucas, Liam Neeson, David Strathairn, and Donald Sutherland.  The film is scheduled for a Spring 2008 release.
