Nabiha Syed, A&S '07, named 2010 Marshall Scholar
Nabiha Syed is one of the 2010 winners of the Marshall Scholarship. Nabiha graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2007 with a double major in International Studies and Anthropology and has attended Yale Law School since then. She will be returning to Oxford, where she studied abroad while at Hopkins, for a Masters of Research in Media Law and Policy. Nabiha has been a powerful advocate for women's rights and a free press in repressive regimes like Pakistan, where her family is from. While at Hopkins, she became a founding member of VisionExchange with her friend Salmah Rizvi, A&S '08 (herself a Truman Scholar).
