The excellence of Johns Hopkins rests on its ability to attract and retain the very finest faculty members and academic leaders. Endowed professorships support the work of outstanding faculty, significantly advancing their work as teachers, scholars, researchers, and clinicians. Endowed directorships and deanships provide tremendous flexibility, providing funds an academic leader can use to advance the work of the School or a department or center in countless ways.

You may fund an endowed professorship with a gift of $2.5 million.

A gift of $5 million will endow an academic directorship.

An endowed deanship may be created with a gift of $10 million.

There are a variety of ways to fund such a commitment, including planned gifts, which often provide tax or other income benefits to the donor. More...

You may choose to name the endowed position for yourself and/or for another person you with to honor or memorialize.
