Did you know that any gift greater than £25 qualifies for a total tax relief in Belgium?

How to make a tax-efficient gift to Johns Hopkins from Belgium
Please follow steps 1-3. Doing so will ensure that your gift will be passed on to the King Baudouin Foundation in the United States (KBFUS) and from there to Johns Hopkins. Once received at Johns Hopkins, your gift will be allocated to the school, center, or institute at Johns Hopkins you have indicated. You will receive a tax receipt, which you will need to gain tax relief in Belgium from the King Baudouin Foundation.

STEP ONE:
There are various ways Belgian residents may make a gift to the King Baudouin Foundation.

Online
If you wish, you may make a gift online using a credit card. See the King Baudouin Foundation Web site to proceed.

Electronic Transfer
You may make a gift through a bank transfer (account 000-0000004-04).

By Check
You may make a gift by writing a check payable to the King Baudouin Foundation. Send the check, along with the letter mentioned in Step 2, to:

It is very important that you mention the following communication when making a gift: KBFUS-JOHNS HOPKINS.

STEP TWO:
At the same time, donors should fax a letter of intent to KBFUS (King Baudouin Foundation United States) -- Brussels office (fax 32.2.511.52.21). See sample letter

STEP THREE:
To help us track your gift, please fax or e-mail a copy of the KBFUS letter (in Step 2) to Johns Hopkins.
