Hopkins Denver: Ski Day at Arapahoe Basin

Start Date
End Date

Join your fellow JHU alumni and friends for a day on the slopes.  A-Basin is an alpine ski area in the Rocky Mountains, in the White River National Forest of Colorado.  The Pallavicini Lift at A-Basin rises over 1,300 ft, providing access to some of the steepest terrain in Summit County. The top of Pallavicini face measures 40 degrees, and this run is a favorite amongst locals on powder days.  It was recently named the 6th best ski lift in the Rocky Mountains

Please note that you will need to purchase your own lift tickets and provide or rent your own ski equipment.

February 27th is also the same day as the 3rd annual New Belgium Mountain Adventure, which you are glad to take part in.  This optional scavenger hunt is a day to don your best costume, chase chickens, search for bigfoot and answer some ridiculous riddles all while skiing, and bonding with your friends - or the person you meet in the check-in line and decided to sign up as a team. So! Get a buddy or 3, bring $10 per person and your ski pass, or purchase a lift ticket, and join the fleet of New Belgium and Arapahoe Basin characters on the slopes and Elevate your Mountain Adventure at Arapahoe Basin!
