The Penn Club of New York has once again been named a Platinum Club of America — recognition for being one of the top five-star private clubs in the United States. In New York City, there are fewer than 10 private clubs honored with this distinction. (Among the university clubs, the Harvard Club is the only other Platinum Club, and it does not offer affiliate memberships.) The clubhouse is conveniently located near Times Square, Grand Central Station, and Bryant Park in Manhattan.

Why the Affiliation?
The Alumni Association has affiliated with the Penn Club to provide Johns Hopkins alumni with a home in which they can socialize, network, and conduct business in New York City. Further, the affiliation allows alumni to network with other Penn Club members and enjoy access to the fine facilities of the clubhouse in Manhattan and its more than 150 reciprocal clubs around the world.

Additionally, the Penn Club’s interaction with New York's Ivy League clubs allows its members to network and mingle with groups from Cornell, Columbia, Harvard, Princeton, Williams and Yale, further enhancing the sense of community among like-caliber individuals.

Did you know?
More than 70% of Penn Club members do not live within New York City! Why do they become members of the Penn Club? Some Penn Club members utilize the clubhouse (especially the affordable overnight rooms) during their visits to New York. Others enjoy the privileges of visiting the 150+ reciprocal private clubs around the world, and yet others make use of our Members Only Website for virtual networking opportunities with fellow Penn Club members.
